The Central New Jersey Council is now accepting applications from Scouts and Scouters who are interested in attending the 100th Anniversary National Jamboree, to be held from July 26 to August 4, 2010 at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. See http://www.scouting.org/jamboree/2010/ for a short video on this experience. Scouts desiring to attend must be twelve (12) years old and a First Class Scout by July 1, 2010. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Adult leaders are needed, too, for Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster (over 21 and under 21), as well as members of the Council National Jamboree staff. Applications are available for download on the CNJC Home page.
Troops are expected to fill up early, so don’t put off your chance to attend this once-in-a-lifetime experience!
